ENG'S DESIGN SAVES THE ENVIRONMENT WITH NATURAL FIBER OF THE MULBERRY TREE
The paper from this ancient tree is recognized as "Mulberry Paper". Making paper by hand started 1,600 years ago in Asia. Today, this paper is still handmade in many countries. The bark from these tall and broad-leafed trees was discovered by regional tribes. As years went by, these tribes found many uses for this bark without having to cut or destroy the trees. When the rainy season is over, the bark naturally peels off from the tree trunks. Today, Eng's Design continues to make natural paper by hand using natural dyes and by using the sun to dry. This process is done without endangering these beautiful mulberry trees that have lived for hundreds of years.
